today's oddball is Comando Cobra
This guy looks vaguely familiar dont you think? And lets not forget to mention that AMAZING package art!
Five buck film Friday
Today's five buck film is not from the bin at Walmart but instead came from a bin at a gas station that had nothing but DVD's I had never heard of and a bunch of best of the 70's cassette tapes. The is The Watermelon.
"an unexpected visitor named Homer shows up at Achilles' doorstep, bearing an unusual gift: an old dilapidated camping trailer painted like a child's image of a watermelon. Insisting that delivering this improbable gift to Achilles is his mission."
Well this wasn't the worst movie I have seen by far but I can definitely see why it was only five bucks .This is a strange indie film that is a little slow and a little dumb but it was in all honesty an ok movie that didn't make want to demand my money back.
I give this movie 2 out of 5 Mogs
That Cobra dude is a red bandana away from a lawsuit lol
ReplyDeleteYes he is lol. Even the company logo looks like its a ripoff of the old LJN logo.
Deletewow! this looks very classic. one thing I noticed in most of your pictures here looks vintage. are you using some effects on them? it's a very nice theme. keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! No all i use is a very old camera and an extreme lack of talent in taking clear pictures lol
DeleteYo it kinda looks like that Rambo dude. And the Watermelon trailer looks cool.
ReplyDeleteDan
Looks like they used the creepy old to much plastic surgery 67 year old Sylvester Stallone as the model for it.
DeleteUhhhh.....its FRANK Stallone playing Rambo's brother. Commando Cobra is just his stage name for Kareoke!
ReplyDeleteHA! Frank Stallone, thats perfect!
DeleteIt's just missing his red bandanna and we would be all set lol.
ReplyDeleteIts funny that they thought removing the bandanna would in some way hide who this figure is.
