For years now I have tried to not have "display" shelves of just toys anymore . I like to mix what's on my shelves so its not exclusively a toy shelf but a mix of the things I like but these hedorahs look so good together I have decided to jump back into having a solo toy shelf.
I prefer mixed stuff shelves too, as I find them to be more appealing to the eye.
