Random shelf post #2

This is just another one of my hundred or so display shelves. I like to clutter random , unrelated things together. If you missed it the first random shelf post is HERE.

Please forgive the dust , I tend to occasionally overlook the top shelves when Im dusting .

    2. I wish i could just randomly display figures like that.Im too darn compulsive though.I gotta have everything nicely grouped according to line.Im gonna have to clear some space now Allen, because I picked up a Comic version Leonardo Eastman Laird figure and that means im gonna have to pick up the other three eventually.I saw them at Wal Mart and something about their lameness really appealed to me.

    3. Some lines I keep together some I place randomly and then there are others that I have 2 of so they can go both ways lol. I may in fact may soon have the Neca versions of them, well very high quality bootlegs of the Neca versions of them. i discovered you can get a bootleg set of them for $30.00 from China so if everything goes right I should have enough saved by January.

    4. Nice!I have absolutely no patience lol! Man,but 30 for the set sounds great!Im almost positive that the bootleg versions will still outshine Playmates :/

    5. I almost pulled the trigger on one of the Playmates versions myself but just couldn't do it ( mainly because I have stuff that needs shipped so spending anything till thats done is a bad choice) The bootlegs look exactly like the real ones except you have the option of getting them with their masks in the cartoon colors or the all red.

    1. Thanks! yeah I just like the way it looks to have different things together. it kind of makes the items stand out more if they are away from the rest of their line.

Am I seeing a bit of a green theme on this shelf and the one above it?

  4. Is that big green monster articulate? No not the abilty to speak...I mean does he move baby? Looks like it would be a good plant monster for Batman animated Poisen Ivy.

  5. He is lightly articulated. his arms move at the shoulders and elbow . You can get a better idea of his articulation from this post I did on the other color version of him http://greenplasticsquirtgun.blogspot.com/2014/08/this-is-not-vintage-voltron-blue-lion.html

  6. More like a random shelf of AWESOME! I used to mix and match my toy lines as well. I didn't have anything against my MOTU figures acting as giants in my G.I. Joe worlds.

For some reason, I'm really digging that green dude. He's a mean looking character.

    1. Thanks! yeah scale doesn't bother me when I have random things together, scale does bother me when things in there own line are out of scale with each other though. He's a pretty cool monster check out his other color scheme http://greenplasticsquirtgun.blogspot.com/2014/08/this-is-not-vintage-voltron-blue-lion.html
