Oh no, another poor robot nobodys wants to see.

This is Beast Wars Drill Bit and if history holds true on Transformers posts, maybe 3 of you out there will look at this.
Of all the posts I have done the lowest views come from Transformers posts. I don't really know why but people don't seem to care about Transformers. I bet if I posted a picture of a standard run of the mill  Guardians of the Galaxy figure  it would break 10,000 views.

    1. When I bought this guy in the late 90's the first thing that came to mind when I took him out of the pack was how much that part reminded me of my favorite Gobot.

  3. I've never been a huge Transformers fan, but I am rather fond of Beast Wars. I remember eating cereal and watching that terrible CGI cartoon with my brother after school. You've gotta love robots that transform into organic life forms, especially giant insects.

    1. I really should rewatch that show, I hardly remember it. One part of the show that seems to stand out clearly in my memory is an episode where the rhino kept farting.I still really enjoy the toys , especially the insects!

    1. For me, Beast Wars reinvigorated my interest in Transformers. When BW hit the market I had a nearly complete collection of American Transformers and a really good but not nearly complete collection of Japanese Transformers and I was pretty much faltering with nothing really obtainable left so the challenge of all the new Beasts to collect was really great. One of the very first things (if not the first thing) i ever bought on Ebay was a Beast Wars toy.

  5. Drill Bit looks cool. It's too bad the lesser known characters didn't show up on the Beast Wars cartoon.

    1. A good number of the characters that were never on the cartoon in America show up on the Japanese Beast wars II and Beast Wars Neo. This guy was a regular Character on Beast Wars II, though in Japan his name is Drill Nuts.

  6. Wasnt Optimus a Gorilla?I think I would have liked the show more If it had been a normal cartoon. Then again, any cartoon that didnt have the same style of 80s art G.I. Joe and the original Transformers had wasnt going to get my attention. So biased.

    1. He was a Gorilla and in the Japanese version he was a white lion. The animation did look a little strange because it was that early CG , it looked a lot like Reboot. I think if you could find it you might like the Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo because they are regular animation and look a lot like the oldTransformers cartoons.

  7. I like the idea of bug-based Transformers more than I usually like the actually toys, but this one has an interesting colour combination - I feel like that purple almost looks like something that belongs to a totally different line of toys.

    1. He always reminded me of this other toy line that was all transparent plastic transforming dinosaurs, the name of that line escapes me at the moment but I think they were from Bandai.

    1. As do I but people seem to be abandoning transformers and completely loosing interest. I blame Michael Bay .
