W.I.T.C.H.

These are from Mcdonalds happy meals back in 2005. They are simple 4 point articulated figures but are pretty well made.

I didnt really watch to much of this show so I dont know much about it other than its an Italian cartoon. This is what wiki had to say about it : W.I.T.C.H. is a European animated television series based on the Italian comic book series of the same name created by Gary Tomlin and Elisabetta Gnone. The series was produced by SIP Animation in association with and participation from Jetix Europe, The Walt Disney Company, France 3 and Super RTL. Like the comic, the show follows five girls: Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin who have magical powers which they use to fulfill their duties as "Guardians of the Veil". The names of these five characters form the titular acronym, despite the characters not actually being witches. The series is set in the fictional city of Heatherfield and various mythical planets, namely Meridian and Zamballa. W.I.T.C.H. premiered on 18 December 2004 on ABC Family and concluded on 23 December 2006.

On a side note, I have been working on another blog recently trying out a different way to showcase my toys. If you feel like it you can check it out here

  3. Nice colours on those! I'm sometimes surprised by how some of the McDonalds toys are almost as nice as a lot of the regular retail figures.

    1. The colors are what drew me to them originally and the fact that they where dirt cheap. A few of my favorite things are McDonalds toys from the 80's.Some are better quality then others.

    1. There not witches. As described above "Like the comic, the show follows five girls: Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin who have magical powers which they use to fulfill their duties as "Guardians of the Veil". The names of these five characters form the titular acronym, despite the characters not actually being witches".

    1. I dont think they will ever have articulation even close to what GI Joe has normally but you might get the 5 point of articulation ;)
