Armory sale toy haul

The local Armory holds a fundraising sale every year for the animal shelter in my town. They sell all the normal thrift store type items like books, used clothing and furniture but they also have a huge pile of toys that are sold by the bucket full at $1.00 per pound. This is about half of my toy haul for this year.

A bunch of stuff didn't make it into the pictures because my son is a very impatient child and ran off with 2 buckets before I could get the pics. I didn't take individual pictures of the transformers because for the most part they look pretty junky but my son wanted them so they came home with us.

    1. imagine what the shipping cost would be ! Their really not in the kind of condition that you prefer in your collection (most of them will not even stand due to warped legs) but they are perfect for a kid to play with.

    2. Well if you come across one or three that you think the Cave of Cool could adopt I would be willing to return the gesture.

    3. If you give me a general list of the things your looking for Ill keep my eyes out for sure, I rarely come across complete items tho.Like I now have 2 Oscar Goldman's one is incomplete but has a shirt and pants the other is nude because I took his pants and put them on the one with the shirt.

    1. Its strange that the toy market is so dry in Mexico ,I know somebody in Argentina and he has all kinds of stuff in his area. I know Argentina is a long way from Mexico but it seems like stuff would trickle into Mexico from the areas around it.

  8. I have very few of those Justice League or JL Unlimited figures in loose form. Maybe you have a double or two that you can spare for a poor boy in the cold frozen North.

  9. That Swamp Thing figure is from the old line that came out for the TV show back in 1990. That is sweet. I had a bunch of those.

    1. I already had it myself but I wasn't going to leave it behind knowing my son would love it.The Hawkman is the one from the 80's super powers which I thought was a strange thing to find and that plasticman is bizarre
