My dark secret ....

This is my Monster High doll collection.
Yes, I have heard it before " but Brother M  dollies are for little girls and your a full grown man". Well these dolls are different.
These are the daughters of the Universal Monsters and are all monster themselves. I am an equal opportunity monster collector and will turn away no monster toys, If your a monster toy ( even a girly one) then you have a home in my collection.

  1. I say what I always say at these times - "She's not a DOLL, she's an ACTION FIGURE!" I have given those horror high figures many looks. They have a very slick design aesthetic.

    1. I did try the action figure card to start with but it caused a lot of arguments so I just stick with doll now. They do have an aesthetically interesting look and display very well.

  2. I must be desensitized by all the Bronies I hang out with, because this doesn't seem that shameful to me. Can I come over and play with your dolls??

    1. haha I haven't even thought about taking pictures of my My little pony collection. Gha Im constantly having to keep my wife and her friends from playing with my dolls so I guess one more intruder wouldn't hurt anything :)

    1. I think the fact that these are monsters makes it more exceptionable for guys to like them.I mean how can you go wrong with a cute monster girl.

    1. HaHa! Yeah she is . I snagged that one off of ebay for almost nothing but it had no clothes so I positioned her hands to cover the unmentionables till I can score her cloths at a good price.

  7. Oh I'm so glad you collect these! Welcome to the MH Club! lol I actually know a lot of guys that collect these, so don't worry about it. I love collecting these and even did a cute lil Clueless/MH mash up. They are a lot of fun. I wish they'd bring Toralei back in stores, I missed out on her. Nice collection!

    1. Thanks ! Really the only thing I look at in the toy department these days are the Monster high dolls because Iv stopped collection almost all the current toy lines.I got my Toralei and abbey bominable together in a lot on ebay loose with no clothes late on a Sunday night for almost nothing. Im hoping to find Venus McFlytrap in store and not have to pay Ebay price.

    2. Well don't pay for Venus on ebay! She is slowly entering Wal-Mart stores and may be showing up in your area soon.

  8. AGREED! These are totally different from the "usual girls' dolls".
There's something for everyone in them. Pretty clothes, cute girls, monsters, doll stands... it doesn't scream 5-year-old-girls-only to me.

This is no dark secret. This is a lovely collection :)

    1. Thank you :) this was about 4 months old when I posted it and my collection looks a little different now. The Monster High community is very active and lively and Iv met some very interesting people thought collecting MH that I would never have met otherwise.
