Yard sale haul retro game edition!

Let me start by saying that this is by no means a normal yard sale haul for me, More often than not I will go out and come back home with nothing more than a Slushpuppy and a few cheeseburgers.I have been thinking about collecting old video games for a while now but it always seemed like it would just cost a fortune .So my wife went out to a yard sale on Friday and came home with this mighty retro game haul.

Everything works and is in great shape (after a few hours of wiping off thick dust) .This was an instant collection and cost less than the price of 1 new Xbox game!

  1. You did extremely well here! A box top loading NES if complete is in the $60 to $80 price range itself and a Atari Dust Cover too which is very nice to go with that Atari 7800(which is nice because it can play both 2600 and 7800 games). I can't make out what games you have so i wonder if you have any rarer ones in this lot? Also what's the story on the Creature from the Black Lagoon? One of those large scale vinyls? Looks awesome.

    2. Ok you got a nice bit of money with the Mega Man games because they always sale well and keep there value. Bonk's Adventure on the NES is in the price range of that boxed Top Loading NES because it is a bit rarer title. Mario RPG can fetch decent prices too so if you only paid a price of a new Xbox360 game($50-$60)you made out like a bandit on this! And that Creature is sweet! You need a blog post on it alone to increase my drool factor over it lol.

    1. Iv never had this kind of haul before with video games, at most I will find a few gamecube games or the occasional dream cast game but this is taking the cake by far.
