Oddball Figure Friday + 10,000 page views!

Today's oddball is this:
This is the mutant from the Socket poppers toy lime made by Ertl in 1991.these things are very hard to find these days.

I just hit 10,000 page views! I would like to thank all of you who have been coming to my blog these past two months. When I started this thing I didn't think I would get even one page view let alone 10,000 of them in my first two months! I have a couple special things planned for the near future as a show of my appreciation so keep an eye out for further details in the coming weeks.

  1. Ah, Socket Poppers! They were released as "Connectors" by Matchbox in the UK. I have the Monster Fly, Robot, Wrestler and Indian, and somewhere in my boxes of toys there's also the Mummy and the Cyclops. Fun stuff.

Also, congratulations on 10,000 views! It's all down to content - daily pictures of great things people either remember or haven't seen before, with simple text. It's a good format and you're applauded - didn't realise you'd only been going two months! In that same time I've had... 1187. Heh.

    1. I think they were released as Con-nec-tors here by match box as well but they bombed and got released later by ertl. I have just one because they hardly ever show up and when they do they are crazy expensive.
Thanks! I realized early on that posts with a lot of text didn't do very well view wise, Thats why I do the mass of my talking in the comment section.
